Hindalco net up 17.7%

 Net sales for the quarter increased 22.3 per cent at Rs 1,474.8 crore, against 1,205.9 crore a year ago.

 The global firming up of aluminium and copper prices has led to improved realisations, contributing to the bottom line.

 Increased aluminium production due to brownfield expansions and value-added products have also augmented growth in sales.
