IL&FS Transport JV achieves fin closure for Gurgaon metro

IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd today said that Rapid MetroRail Gurgaon Ltd has tied-up Rs 1,088 crore for a metro project in Gurgaon.

Rapid MetroRail Gurgaon Ltd, a joint venture between ITNL, ENSO Rail Systems Ltd, DLF Metro Ltd and IL&FS, is developing the rail metro link in Gurgaon, IL&FS Transportation Networks said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The project will be executed on build, operate and transfer basis, the filing added.

The ENSO Group recently entered into a joint venture with ITNL (an IL&FS Group company) to form ITNL Enso Rail Systems Ltd.
     
Shares of IL&FS Transportation Networks were trading at Rs 274 on the BSE, down 1.53 per cent from the previous close.
