IOLCP wins green award

Punjab-based IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IOLCP), producers of APIs; Ibuprofen and specialty chemicals has announced that the company has once again won the National Energy Conservation Award 2011. The company has won the second prize in the chemical sector for its continued efforts towards new technology implementation so as to conserve energy resources of the country.

It is worth noting that winning the National Energy Conservation Award 2011 has enabled IOLCP to hold the distinction to have won the National Energy Conservation Awards consecutively for seven years.

IOLCP has won the second prize of National Energy Conservation Award every year since 2005. Last year IOLCP had won the National Energy Conservation Award 2010, first prize in drugs & pharmaceuticals sector.

 

Vijay Singla, Director (Works), IOLCP received the award from Sushil Kumar Shinde, power minister, government of India at a special felicitation ceremony held on December 14, 2011, National Energy Conservation Day, in New Delhi.
