Komli Media, engaged in digital media network platforms, today announced the launch of its new engineering center in
Bangalore. The company said it is aggressively investing in products and platforms, and opening an engineering center in Bangalore will enable the company to access the tremendous talent pool in the market. The company will continue to grow its egineering center in Mumbai and plans to hire more than 50 engineers in the next six months across both centers. Recently, Komli Media raised $15 million in funding led by Norwest Venture Partners. This investment has enabled the company to accelerate its investment in technology platforms and talent.
Meanwhile, it also announced that its current chief operating officer (COO), Prashant Mehta, has been reappointed as chief executive officer and a member of the Komli Media Board of Directors. Amar Goel, previously CEO and chairman, will continue his role as chairman of the board.
In his new role as CEO, Mehta will lead all operational, financial and strategic areas of the business globally.
