M&M tractor sales rise at 19,016 units in May

Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES) division today reported a marginal rise in its tractor sales to 19,016 units in May this year.

The company had sold 18,892 tractors in the corresponding month last year, M&M said in a statement.

Domestic sales increased by marginally to 18,019 units during the month under review from 17,952 units in the year-ago period, it added.

Exports went up by 6.06% to 997 units during the month from 940 units in the corresponding period last year.
