Media Matrix to open chain of pubs in Indian subcontinent

Media Matrix Worldwide, a leading media company, today announced a joint venture with Irish Pub Company FZC, UAE to start chain of pubs across India and the Indian subcontinent.     

The joint venture would raise $20 million (nearly Rs 96.1 crore) to start 450 pubs across the Indian sub continent in three phases in 2-5 years, Media Matrix Worldwide said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).     

Irish Pub Company is in creation, design, build, and management of branded hospitality concepts, the filing added.
