Bangalore-based telecom product company Subex announced the ,appointment of Surjeet Singh as Managing Director and CEO of the company with immediate effect. Prior to his new role as the CEO of Subex, Singh was the Chief Financial Officer of Patni Computer Systems.
Surjeet Singh is a seasoned management professional and a business leader with over two decades of multi-industry global experience in finance, corporate development, business planning and global operation functions, the company said in a release.
Surjeet Singh replaces Subash Menon who decided to quit from the company last week.
Subash Menon founded Subex in 1992 resigned from the company last week to focus on his new venture, Kivor Environ a waste management company. The company which was started in 2009 has a turnover of around Rs 100 crores.
Kivar Holdings, the investment company of Subash Menon has business interests in areas such as environment, energy and infrastructure. Kivar Holdings runs three companies under its umbrella including Kivar Environ, Kivar infrastructure and Kivar Energy apart from its investment in Subex.
