Ranbaxy offers cash reward for missing chopper

Ranbaxy has announced a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for the person giving information about its helicopter that went missing on August 3 evening while on way to Chhattisgarh from Hyderabad.

The announcement was made in Dantewada village to motivate people from neighbouring villages who reach Dantewada’s weekly market to be part of the search, a Ran Air spokesperson said.

The firm also said it has received full cooperation from local authorities, adding that around 150-200 policemen were conducting search operations. “If the person wishes anonymity, his name will not be made public for giving information,” Dantewada SP Rahul Sharma said.
