S K Sharma takes over as CMD of BEL

Sharma joined BEL in 1978 after graduating from University College of Engineering, Bangalore

S K Sharma today assumed charge as the Chairman & Managing Director of defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) in Bangalore.

Sharma joined BEL in 1978 after graduating from the University College of Engineering, Bangalore.

He has worked in multiple disciplines covering Electronic Warfare, Avionics, Network Centric Systems, Radars and Components, in various capacities at BEL’s Bangalore, Ghaziabad and Hyderabad units.
 
Sharma is a BEL nominee Director on the Boards of BEL’s Joint Venture Companies, GE BEL Pvt Ltd and BEL Multitone Pvt Ltd.
