SilkAir begins Hyderabad operations

SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, commenced operations to Hyderabad on Monday.

For a start, SilkAir will operate five flights a week between Hyderabad and Singapore.

The flight frequency will be stepped up to daily services from October 20, 2009. SilkAir also flies to three other Indian destinations- Coimbatore, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, the company stated in a release.
