Apparel and textile firm S Kumars Nationwide Ltd (SKNL) is undertaking a re-positioning exercise for its apparel brands, including Reid & Taylor and Belmonte.
This is in keeping in tune with the growth witnessed by the labels in the Indian market.
As a part of the exercise, the firm has invited pitches from up to five advertising agencies for each of the brands to carry out campaigns.
“SKNL’s apparel brands have grown big and now we are looking at segmenting them,” SKNL Director, Apparel and Retail Ashesh Amin said.
“There are some overlaps between fabrics and apparels in case of some labels,” he said.

Amin, however, did not disclose names of the agencies that are participating in the pitch.
However, it is understood that the company could finally select mix of big and small ad agencies for all the brands put together.
SKNL has apparel labels such as Reid & Taylor, Belmonte, S Kumars, Stephens Brothers and World Player along with home textile brand, Carmichael in its portfolio.
