Spice Comm narrows June qtr net loss at Rs 35 cr

BK Modi Group's Spice Communication net loss for the quarter ended June 2009 shrunk by 74 per cent to Rs 34.9 crore.

The net loss posted for the similar quarter last year was Rs 136.4 crore. However,  total income earned for the period ending June 2009 inched up by 5.15 per cent to Rs 330.07 crore.

The company's income for the same quarter last year stood at Rs 314.5 crore. At an operating profit level, the company earned Rs 767 crore for the June quarter, against a loss of Rs 2,391 crore last year.
