Budget carrier SpiceJet is celebrating its ten years of flying and return to profitability in style - by offering a three-day offer on air fares starting Rs 1,299.

The three-day sale, 'WeAreCelebratingSoShouldYou' will begin on June 2 and the offer is applicable for one-day domestic travel between June 20 and July 31 this year.

Fares start at Rs 1,299 on routes such as Mumbai - Ahmedabad, Agartala -Guwahati, Bengaluru - Kozhikode and Delhi - Jaipur, the airline said a statement on Monday.

"We have a lot to celebrate now. This sale celebrates a decade of flying and making flying more affordable for more Indians than any other airline. It also celebrates our return to both net and operating profitability as per the results for the last quarter ending March 2015" said Sanjiv Kapoor, Chief Operating Officer, SpiceJet.

The airline said there is limited inventory under the offer, and tickets will be available on first-come-first-served basis.

After seven quarters of losses, SpiceJet swung to a net profit of Rs 22.51 crore in the January-March period of 2014-15. The airline had reported a net loss of Rs 321.5 crore in Q4 of FY14. This coincided with a change in management of SpiceJet in January.

The carrier had celebrated 10 years on service on May 23 and had launched two successive sale offers - the 'celebration sale', and the 5 hour "Happy Birthday to Us" flash sale.
