Hyderabad-based Suven Life Sciences has reported a 58.12 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 32.58 crore for the quarter ended June, 2016 as compared with Rs 20.60 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.
Total income from operations rose 31.68 percent to Rs 133.23 crore from Rs 101.17 crore in the year ago period.
On a sequential basis the company's top-line declined 20.8 per cent and net profit declined 12.38 per cent compared to Rs 169.37 crore and Rs 37.18 crore in the quarter ended March, 2016 respectively.
Majority of the company's revenues come from the contract research and manufacturing services.
