Tulsyan NEC net up 350% at Rs 9.85 crore

Chennai-based Tulsyan NEC Limited, a flagship company of the Tulsyan group, has reported 350 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 9.85 crore during the first quarter of 2008-09 compared to Rs 2.72 crore for the same period last year.

Company's turn over increased by 94 per cent to Rs 210 crore from Rs 108 crore. Tulsyan attributed the growth due to increased demand for steel and plastics and also partly due to better sales realisation.
