Vedanta appoints Deepak Parekh as non executive director on Board

Parekh also serves on the board of a number of leading corporations across a diverse range of sectors

Vedanta Resources has appointed Deepak Parekh, chairman of Housing Development Finance  Corporation, as an independent non-executive director on the company’s board with effect from June 1.

Parekh began his career at Ernst & Young in New York and is a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

He also serves on the board of a number of leading corporations across a diverse range of sectors.
