BCCI moves SC for release of funds for India-England Test match

The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court for release of funds and saying its non-disbursal would result in the cancellation of India-England Test on Wednesday.

The five-Test series between India and England will begin on November 9 in Rajkot.

The Lodha panel opposed the BCCI submission saying the cricket body is in contempt by not obeying apex court directions.

The bench, comprising Justices AR Dave and AM Khanwilkar, said it will discuss the matter with Chief Justice TS Thakur during the day and the CJI will take a call when
