HP govt takes over Ramdev trust's land

The Himachal Pradesh government on Friday took possession of 28 acres of Baba Ramdev’s Trust in Solan district’s Sadhupul. A notice was served on the trust explaining the lease was cancelled a couple of days earlier. The previous government had in 2010 allotted the land for a token lease of Rs 1 per year for 99 years. The market value of the land is Rs 35.4 crore.
