Severe fog disrupted operations at Delhi airport on Monday morning, leading to a cascading effect on domestic schedule of all airlines as Delhi is the main base for all carriers.
No departures took place between 7:15 a.m. and 8:45 am as visibility was below 125 metres, the minimum required for take off.
However planes could land as minimum requirement is 50 metres. Three inbound Air India flights were diverted to other airports.
