Truck rentals will fall three-four per cent in a couple of days as a result of price cuts announced in diesel rates by oil marketing companies, after these were deregulated, a research firm said on Saturday. The firm, Indian Foundation of Transport Research and Training, welcomed the Cabinet decision to deregulate diesel prices. But it said the drop announced by oil marketing companies is much lower than that in the international prices.
Diesel prices will come down by Rs 3.37 a litre in Delhi from Saturday midnight.
