Party secretary A Anbalagan, MLA, told reporters here today that the territorial government was levying 12.5 per cent sales tax on petrol, diesel and LPG cylinder. This was less than what was prevailing  in neighbouring states of Tamilnadu, Andhra and Kerala, he said.
