Bengal Ban On Dietary Supplements Sale Flayed

Members of the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Produc-ers of India (OPPI) have expressed concern over the ban on the sale of dietary or nutritional supplements in West Bengal.
The state government in a notification has asked retail chemists not to stock, sell or distribute dietary or nutritional supplements from their licenced premises. The notification makes them liable for prosecution under the Drug & Cosmetics Act and Rules.
