FinMin, Irda relief for J&K

The Finance Ministry on Friday said it has released in advance the instalment worth ~856.29 crore in October to Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) to help the state government deal with the floods. Meanwhile, Irda has asked life insurers to nominate a senior official to act as a nodal officer in the state for expediting settlement of all claims.
