Telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said that the cabinet has decided to keep the reserve price for 2,100 MHz at Rs 3,705 crore per megahertz.
The minister assured industry watchers that the spectrum auction would be a fair and transparent process.
He also added guidelines for spectrum sharing and trading guidelines are in the pricess of being finalised.

Talking about the decison of not challenging the Bombay High Court's judgement on the Vodafone transfer pricing case, he said that Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley took inputs from CBDT, AG and SG on the issue. He also said that this decision will improve investor confidence.
