Govt To Move Sc On Probe Into Ocb, Fii Accounts

The government has decided to appeal the Supreme Court against a Delhi High Court order that quashed the Central Board of Direct Taxes circular preventing tax officials from investigating the accounts of overseas corporate bodies (OCBs) and foreign institutional investors (FIIs).

Senior finance ministry officials said the CBDT has been directed to appeal against the Delhi High Court order.
