Jaswant Banks On States & #8217; Debt Swap

The Centre has decided to utilise the Rs 13,800 crore it will receive from states under the debt swap scheme to prepay the National Small Savings Fund.

The third supplementary demands for grants passed in Parliament today involves a net cash outgo of Rs 5,495.12 crore.
