Raymond Vickery, Jr., Senior Director of the Albright Stonebridge Group LLC, Woodrow Wilson Center Global Fellow and noted author on U.S.-India relations, was in Kolkata for a two-day visit.
His Kolkata visit is part of a 15-day speaking tour in India. In Kolkata he visited academic institutions, think tanks, trade associations and chambers of commerce engaging with a wide range of audiences from students to business leaders in a discussion on Foreign Direct Investment and U.S.-India economic engagement.
His presentation to the students and faculty of Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM) and the Indian Institute for Management (IIM) Kolkata focused on the “Strategic Aspects of U.S-India Economic Engagement”. Mr. Vickery addressed a business leaders audience of the Bharat Chamber of Commerce on “Strategic Aspects of U.S.-India FDI: Opportunities for Partnership” followed by an interactive session.
