Railway sees Rs 89,400 cr from freight in 2012-13

The railway plans to earn Rs 89,400 crore from its freight operations for the 2012-13 fiscal year, Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said on Wednesday.

Trivedi said gross traffic receipts are expected at Rs 1.33 lakh crore for the same period.

Trivedi also said the railways would introduce 75 new express trains next fiscal year.
