The state-of-the-art Sukhoi-30 combat aircraft yesterday stole the show by displaying splendid manoeuvrability and aerobatics at the full-dress rehearsal for the October 8 air show of the Indian Air Force (IAF) here.
Staging its maiden fly-past over Indian skies, the newly-acquired Russian-made Su-30 nose-dived, floated and demonstrated dodging capabilities which kept spectators spell-bound. The Tricolour-painted aircraft exhibited the chakra by turning upside down in one of the performances organised to commemorate the 65th year of IAFs creation.
The air-show was kicked off by the fly-past by three Mi-17 helicopters followed by the big-boy formation by one Il-76, two An-32s and two Dorniers.
