According to a recent study, the online insurance market reportedly stood at Rs 700 crore. The overall new annualized business is expected to grow 2 to 2.5 times by 2020 to Rs 1.25 lakh crore to 1.5 lakh crore. On the other hand, life insurance renewals expected to grow to Rs 5.5 lakh crore to Rs 7 lakh crore by 2020.
