Exhibition on ENVIS Knowledge Products Being Held at Environment Ministry .


An exhibition of the knowledge products covering various environment and forest related issues by the 69 Environment Information System (ENVIS) centres is being held here on February 18-19, 2016 during office hours. The exhibition has been put up at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, IP Bhavan, Jor Bagh Road, Aliganj (near Jor Bagh Metro Station), New Delhi. .


The knowledge products on display at the exhibition include mobile apps, special publications, theme-based newsletters, e-newsletters, thematic bulletins, technical reports, directories of information at state,/regional/ national level, bibliography, information products developed on parks and sanctuary, desertification maps, flora and fauna species distribution maps. .

The inaugural function of national interaction-cum-evaluation workshop of Environmental Information System (ENVIS) Centres and ENVIS portal launch was held yesterday. The three-day workshop will continue till February 19. .
