Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign today announced a $80 million fundraising haul, with its digital and direct mail operations resulting in approximately $64 million in donations for July.
At the start of the month, the Trump Campaign and the both Joint Fundraising Committees also have very strong cash on hand numbers totaling approximately $74 million.
The campaign, in conjunction with the Republican National Committee, also hosted 20 fundraising events throughout the country for Trump Victory raising over $16 million, a media release said.
In addition, Trump has donated $56 million so far to his campaign.
As compared, the rival Hillary Clinton campaign in July raised about $90 million.
The Hillary Campaign begins August with $58 million in bank.
