Bajaj Auto rose 3.3 per cent to Rs 4,328 on the BSE in intra-day trade on Tuesday after the two-wheeler maker reported strong sales numbers for the month of May, led by exports. The two-wheeler maker grew 114 per cent at 271,862 in May 2021 as compared to 127,128 in the year-ago period. However, the sales were down 30.2 per cent, sequentially, from 3.88 lakh units in April 2021.
While the company's domestic sales in May 2021 were up 52 per cent YoY at 60,830 units, the exports rose 142 per cent at 211,032.
