Bombay HC adjourns Sebi-CIC hearing to December 19

Court says make RIL party to the case

The Bombay High Court today adjourned to December 19 the hearing on Securities and Exchange Board of India's (Sebi's) appeal against the order passed by Central Information Commission (CIC), last month, directing the former to disclose information in the Reliance Industries insider trading case.

The court today said that the accused, RIL, should be made party to the case.

Bombay high court also asked Sebi laywer to take instructions from the regulator whether file notings and consideration behind the consent order circular can be disclosed.
