Total market turnover on Dec 31 at Rs 79,000 crore

NSE F&O turnover below Rs 50,000 crore

The total market turnover on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange was Rs 79,000 crore on Monday.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment amounted to Rs 1,780 crore while the derivatives segment registered a turnover of Rs 20,944 crore.

On the National Stock Exchange, turnover in the cash segment was Rs 7,531 crore while the turnover in the derivatives segment was Rs 48,895 crore.
