Chana futures for April fell by Rs 27, or 0.76%, to Rs 3,505 per quintal in 65,790 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, the January contract declined Rs 9, or 0.22%, to Rs 4,077 per quintal in 32,600 lots.
Profit-bookings, weak spot market trend and subdued demand affected the trade.
Expectations of higher production also put pressure on chana futures.
