Dileep Madgavkar quits Prudential

Dileep Madgavkar, the erstwhile chief investment offficer (CIO) at Pru ICICI Mutual Fund, who was relocated to Prudential Corporation Asia in Hong Kong recently, has quit the organisation.

Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company had brought in Nilesh Shah as CIO to replace Madgavkar in June 2004.

A spokesperson from Prudential Asset Management (Hong Kong) said in a statement: "Dileep Madgavkar has informed us of his decision to leave the organisation for personal reasons. He will continue to be with us until the end of March 2005 to ensure a smooth transition."
