Shares of Eicher Motors were up over 1% at Rs 20,961 following a PTI report that the company's two-wheeler division Royal Enfield sold its entire inventory of 200 units of limited edition motorcycles within 26 minutes of opening of online booking.
Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors had unveiled a range of limited edition bikes in May, inspired by the 'despatch riders' of the World Wars, which were be sold online only, the report added.
The despatch motorcycle range is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh (on road Delhi).
The stock hit a high of 21,150 and a low of 20,721. At 12:20PM, over 19,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
