Essar Oil posted a net loss of Rs 226 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2009 as against a net loss of Rs 1230 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Total income rose from Rs 8413 crore to Rs 9965 crore.
The results are, however, not comparable as commercial production of the refinery started from May 1, 2008.
