Gram, its dal soften on sluggish demand

Prices generally held steady in the wholesale pulses market today, barring a fall in gram and its dal on sluggish demand.
Traders said adequate stocks against sluggish demand mainly led to decline in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram declined by Rs 50 to Rs 2,525-2,550, while its dal local and best quality lost Rs 100 each to Rs 2,800-2,815 and Rs 2,900-3,000 per quintal, respectively.
