IndusInd up on 3-fold rise in profit

The scrip of IndusInd Bank rose 6.36 per cent to Rs 46.85 on a three-fold jump in its fourth quarter net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2009.

The bank’s profit jumped 250 per cent to Rs 50.52 crore in the March quarter as against Rs 14.45 crore registered in the year-ago period, while its total income increased 32.5 per cent during the period.
