Markets in red; Nifty down 30pts

The NSE Nifty today opened flat at 4501. The index touched a high of 4,524 and then slipped into the red to a low of 4,470. The index is now at 4,472, down 30 points.

Jindal Steel has advanced 3% to Rs 2,715. ABB has added 2% to Rs 746.

Reliance Infrastructure, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel and National Aluminium are up 1.5% each.

Tata Steel has slipped 3% to Rs 380. Sterlite and Suzlon have dropped over 2% each to Rs 595 and Rs 92, each.

Meanwhile the BSE index Sensex is at 15,088, down 102 points.
