Mentha oil rises 0.7% on pick-up in spot demand
Prices rose as participants increased holdings

Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 6.50 to Rs 915.80 per kg in futures trade today after participants increased holdings tracking a firm spot as well as export demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract rose by Rs 6.50, or 0.71%, to Rs 915.80 per kg, in 424 lots.
The June contract also increased by Rs 6, or 0.66%, to Rs 910.90 per kg in 140 lots.
Marketmen said a firming trend at the spot markets on rising spot and export demand, mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade here.
