Pfizer rises on open offer

Shares of Pfizer surged 10.02 per cent to close the day at Rs 685.4 on an announcement that Pfizer Investments Netherlands BV, an indirect subsidiary of Pfizer will tender an open offer to acquire a 33.77 per cent shares in Pfizer India.

The stock made an intraday high of Rs 690 and a low of Rs 664 with volumes of 90,457 shares.
