Sale season: Many more to follow Infosys promoters' footsteps

Four promoters of Infosys pared their holdings in the company and raked in about Rs 6,500 crore. As the market has posted sharp gains over the past year, a host of promoters have sold their holdings in recent weeks. Robust liquidity and investor appetite have provided an opportunity to part with their holdings at good valuations. Investment bankers say there are more promoters wanting to sell part of their holdings and would tap the market in coming months.
