				The S&P BSE Sensex on Friday was trading over 400 points lower, while the broader Nifty50 index breached its crucial 8,450 level.</div>

				The benchmark share indices tanked in late morning trade tracking mixed trend seen in Asian markets as the initial euphoria post Donald Trump&#39;s victory in the US elections faded.</div>

				At 10:45 am, the 30-share index was trading at 27,115, down 402.13 points, while the broad-based 50-share index was quoting 8,387, down 138.75 points.</div>

				&ldquo;Nifty index is near to crucial zones now and if it fails to hold 8,480 zones then profit booking decline may attract the traders to drag it towards 8,400-8,380 zones while on the upside, it needs to surpass 8,600-8,620 zones to attract fresh move towards 8665 and 8720 zones,&rdquo; said Anand Rathi in a technical note.&nbsp;</div>

				&ldquo;In sum up to all the price movement market again got stuck in previous trading range after the sharp dip of 500 points and now same kind of rangebound move may continue for some time before it starts the next leg of rally,&rdquo; the note added.</div>

				<strong>Nifty PSU Bank bucks the trend&nbsp;</strong></div>

			<div>
				Nifty PSU Bank index bucked the trend to rule in green territory, led by gains in Union Bank, Allahabad Bank and Bank of India. Other than the expected huge sum of deposits in the coming days thanks to demonetisation, Reserve Bank of India easing the sustainable structuring of stressed assets (S4A) rules also had a positive influence.&nbsp;</div>

				&ldquo;The RBI has come out with a new norm of S4A scheme, which should allow banks to accelerate in resolution of the troubled assets hence banking stocks could extend their rally,&rdquo; said Angel Broking in a research note.</div>

				<strong>Earnings today</strong></div>
			<br />
			<div>
				Meanwhile, as many as 485 companies are expected to announce September quarter earnings on Friday. The list includes SBI, M&M, Sun TV, Reliance Power, IPCA Labs, MOIL, Natco Pharma and Andhra Bank.</div>
			<br />
			<div>
				&ldquo;Going ahead, quarterly results will have stock specific impact on markets. Markets will look for early signals of increase in private sector capex. The US Fed meeting in early December will be watched closely. It is expected to raise interest rates in this meeting,&rdquo; said Dipen Shah, Senior Vice President & Head PCG Research, Kotak Securities.</div>

				<strong>Buzzing stocks</strong></div>

			<div>
				Sun Pharma stock was the top gainer on both the headline indices and added over 6 per cent on the BSE after the company doubled its consolidated net profit in the September quarter, year on year.</div>

				Among the decliners, Noida Toll Bridge Company slipped 4% after Supreme Court refused to stay Allahabad High Court&rsquo;s order which made DND flyover toll free.</div>
			<br />
			<div>
				Shares of Page Industries tanked for the second straight session after the company on Thursday reported less-than-expected earnings in the September quarter.&nbsp;</div>
			<br />
			<div>
				Wockhardt shares also dropped over 2 per cent after the pharma major posted a decline of 81.59 per cent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 17.02 crore in the second quarter on account of a dip in sales.&nbsp;</div>
			<br />
			<div>
				On Thursday, foreign institutional investors remained sellers with net equity sale value of Rs 733.49 crore while domestic institutional investors bought equities worth Rs 639.19 crore, provisional data available with the BSE suggested.</div>

				At 9:20 am, 30-share index was trading at 27,204, down 313.67 points, while the broad-based 50-share index was quoting 8,430, down 95.65 points.</div>
