Sensex up 37pts; Jaiprakash up 3.5%

The Nifty is trading at 4865, down 4 points.

Jaiprakash Associates has gone up 3.5% to Rs 220.

Satyam, ITC and Maruti  have gained 2% to Rs 534, Rs 221 and Rs 779 respectively. SBI has advanced 1.8% to Rs 1,469.

Infosys has advanced 1.1% at Rs 1,979 . M&M, L&T, Tata Motors, Bharti, DLF, , HDFC, Wipro and Grasim are the other gainers.

Hindalco has lost 3% to Rs 186, NTPC is down 2.1% to Rs 168, and Ambuja Cements is down 1.7% at Rs 93.

Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have declined 1% to Rs 893 and Rs 571 respectively.

Bhel, ACC, HDFC Bank, Cipla, HUL, TCS and ONGC are other losers.
