Sugar millgate prices fall on ample supply

Sugar prices closed on a quiet note in the national capital today, following little buying support against sufficient stocks position.

Market analysts said adequate stocks against restricted buying, mainly held sugar prices unaltered. 

The following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 3,100-3,200 and S-30 3,075-3,175
Mill delivery M-30 2,850-3,000 and S-30 2,825-2,975
