Tata Group shares trade weak; Tata Steel, Tata Chemicals down over 2%
Tata Comm, Indian Hotels, Tata Power, Tata Coffee, Tata Global, Tata Investment, Tata Elxsi and TCS down 1%-4%.

Shares of Tata Group companies were trading weak, falling by up to 4% in early morning trade on BSE after Tata Sons said its board of directors had removed Cyrus Pallonji Mistry as chairman of the conglomerate and named Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Trusts as interim chairman for four months. Tata Steel, Tata Chemicals, Tata Communications, Indian Hotels, Tata Power, Tata Coffee, Tata Global Beverages, Tata Investment Corporation, Tata Elxsi, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tata Metaliks and Tata Sponge were down between 1% and 4% on BSE. At 10:02 am, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 0.4% at 28,067. The combined market capitalization of 20 Tata Group stocks has declined by about Rs 11,000 crore.
