17 dead, 20 injured in Bilaspur bus accident

At least 17 people lost their lives and 20 others were injured when a private bus carrying approximately 40 passengers rolled down into a lake near Ghumarwin on Wednesday morning.

Reportedly, the accident took place after the driver lost control over the wheel while passing through the dam area.

The bus was on its way from Rishikesh to Bilaspur town when the incident took place.
